The candidate should be familiar with Windows,
Unix, Java, Java bean, *---p, and SQL. PHP,
Perl, Python, and C would would be useful
skills. Experience with a broad number of
applications would also help.
If selected, the candidate would have the
following immediate duties:
1. Tomcat: The selected candidate would run
and manipulate the Tomcat java server
which runs on top of BSD. New
applications are being built on a
postgres SQL database.
2. SOLO: The selected candidate would build
and install a SOLO server implementation
which runs on top of Windows SQL server.
This server interfaces to a payment
gateway and other servers.
Pay is between 60K and 100K dependent upon
skills. The company offers benefits which
include a health plan and an employee stock
option plan. The selected candidate may work
from any high speed Internet connection. If
the company executes per its plan, the stock
option plan would be worth more than $1
million in two years. In addition, other
equity can be earned by working overtime. When
a CIO is hired, the selected candidate would
